Silk sleep mask

Silk sleep masks help create complete darkness, making it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep even in bright light or early mornings. They are perfect not only at home but also for travel or daytime naps.

Thanks to silk’s exceptionally smooth surface, the skin experiences less friction, which may help reduce sleep creases. Silk also absorbs very little moisture, so night creams and the skin’s natural hydration remain on the skin.

In addition, silk is gentle, hygienic, and suitable for the sensitive eye area, while its thermoregulating properties ensure comfort in both summer and winter.

Silk fabric has natural antibacterial properties, which makes it resistant to accumulating dust, bacteria, and dirt. Since sleep masks come into contact with the facial skin every night, ideally they should be washed approximately every three days. If you have skin issues (e.g., acne) or oily skin, washing should be done daily. This ensures the mask stays clean and helps reduce the risk of skin problems.

Silk sleep masks should be gently hand-washed using a few drops of detergent specifically designed for silk. After rinsing carefully, allow the mask to air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight. Hand-washing is recommended, but if that’s not possible, you can wash silk in a washing machine on a “Delicate” or “Silk” cycle. The water temperature should be 20–30 °C, with low spin speed.

Wash silk sleep masks with similarly colored fabrics, as silk may release a small amount of dye, which can tint other items. This is a natural process and does not mean the silk will lose its color after the first wash.
